2014 Recruits Baseball TRYOUTS

Program Background

Recruits Baseball is one of the premier baseball clubs in the Midwest. We will hold tryouts for teams from 8u through 18u consisting of players from our surrounding areas. Our players build knowledge, gain confidence, and learn dedication through our program. We provide a top notch training facility, as well as a coaching staff with an extreme passion for teaching the game. We want high level baseball to be a reality for all, and to be able to give back to our broad community. We push our athletes to be the best that they can be, and with each season that goes by the Recruits family and tradition continues to grow.

The 18u team finished the weekend with a perfect 6-0 record winning the Nill Bros. / Louisville Slugger Legends Series!!!! Tanner Murphy 4th Round Selection

Recruits catcher Tanner Murphy was selected in the 4th round (133 overall) of the MLB amature draft by the Atlanta Braves!! Tanner was committed to play baseball at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in the fall. Good Luck Tanner!!!

Suburban South Player of the Year

Congratulations to Kyle Uhrich, Recruits RHP/OF for begin named Suburban South Player of the Year! Kyle was also named first team all conference at two positions, pitcher and outfield! Kyle hit .411 on the season with 6 HR’s and 26 RBI’s, as well as posting a 3.59 ERA through 59 innings striking out 70 batters. Kyle will continue his playing career at Maryville University in the fall.
